After going independent, he served as a member of the Japan Creation Trends Committee and provided development guidance for domestic production areas.

Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts.

Responsible for providing guidance on material development to a weaving factory in Thailand.

He later became a professor at Bunka Fashion Graduate University.

Additionally, he serves as a part-time lecturer at Bunka Fashion College and Musashino Fashion College.
